This new design is destined to be the year's most popular professional tripod. It is a uniquely styled and is highly versatile. Its legs and column are made from seamless aluminum tubing or from carbon fiber or lava fiber for lightness, strength and rigidity. The patented multi-function center column allows for 180 degree vertical movement and 360 degree horizontal rotation as a lateral arm. Features a universal 3-way head when used without the camera plate of the center column and the safety knob is locked.

    8-layers cross carbon fibers technology
GIOTTO¡¦S new carbon high density tube was light and thin but high strength and hardness that made of top quality ultra thin (7£gm) carbon fibers, a 32 mm tube contains 3,690,000 carbon fibers in a unique structure of 8 crossed layers that processed with high temperature solidify and high pressure strengthen. It features minimize weight yet maximize rigidity, vibration absorption and performance, same with the technology of aerospace.
The 8 different textile fiber direction crossed layers structure design enhance the ¡§lamination effect¡¨ to increase strength and reduce tripod stress in different situation. The vibration absorption by the different carbon layers, it can avoid slightly shivering and make your picture more clear and sharp.

 
Patented Speedy Dust-proof Locking system
There are two structures designed in tripod leg lock normally, one is quickly lever, another is locking set. But the stable and capacity loading will not be so good in quickly lever, that¡¦s why GIOTTO¡¦S develop new structure that speedy dust-proof locking system for new MT tripod system.
This SDL system designed 3 spiral thread, you can loosen all the locks in one hand one time just need to turn 1/8 circle. Two secure rings with double side inclined plane structure design provide maximize rigidity, vibration absorption and performance when shooting.
GIOTTO¡¦S new SDL system features stable, nimble and precise operation to capture more fleeting pictures. We listening photographer¡¦s mind to improve our design, sometimes could be shooting under bad weather, that¡¦s why GIOTTO¡¦S design dust-proof function to avoid dust or sand permeate into the lock.

To change the short column, use the allen wrench to loosen the screw under the platform, then remove the platform and separate the original
column to change to the short column.Loosening the screw by one turn will be enough to remove the platform.
To change the camera screw, use the allen wrench to loosen the screw under the platform, then unscrew the platform and reverse the camera thread.

To set up the platform, pull the knob out and rotate it till "LOCK" is in the top position. To release the platform pull the knob out and rotate it till "FREE" is in the top position.
You can use the tripod without the need for an extra head when using the built-in universal 3-way head, just change to the short column and lock the safety knob. It provides 360 degree horizontal and 180 degree vertical adjustments, quickly and easily.

The center column can be used up side down, reversed, or as a lateral arm for nature and micro photography. It allows 360 degree horizontal and 180 degree vertical adjustment. The column can be positioned and set quickly with the locking knob.
Professional multifunction optional shoes provide stability in snow, mud, tile, sand, slippery floor and soft ground etc. You can push in a twig or long nail to fix the shoes when on the sand or snow.
Removable universal rubber foot covers a metal spike to assure non-slip contact with the ground. The spikes are designed for use in wet soil, gravel or rocky areas. (MT 9240, 8240, 9242, 8242, 9250, 8250 not included spike)
